What You’ll Need

Luckily, filling vape cartridges is often done by hand or small machines that just about anyone can use. To fill one vape cartridge with distillate you’ll pretty much just need the distillate oil itself, the vape cartridge, a syringe, and a heat source.

The syringe will be for injecting the distillate into the cartridge reservoir and the heat source makes the distillate more fluid to make it easier to inject. Most vape pen cartridge filler machines act as both a heat source and an injection syringe and they can make the filling process much faster than a single syringe. The more terpenes, the thinner your oil will come out. Stir the mixture to get an even distribution.

3. Once your distillate has been heated to a liquid form, you can extract the oil into your syringe and then inject it into the reservoir of your cartridge. If you’re having a lot of trouble, your oil may not be hot enough yet or not enough terpenes.
